I love how flexible and accommodating my work schedule is with my school schedule.
What I wish was different
I wish that my salary was higher. For how expensive tuition is and how much we ring in, I would like to see a raise in pay periods.
Advice
If you ever are having issues with scheduling do not be afraid to sit down and talk with your managers. They are very understanding and willing to work with you if you put in the effort.

More communication between staff and leadership. I was sent text messages instead of a phone call 10 - 15 minutes before my shift would start telling me that I wasn't needed for the day; which seemed highly unprofessional to me.
Advice
Remember that this shouldn't be the end all, and be all of your social life.

This job is best for someone who can handle switching between tasks rapidly and does not mind being called in at the last minute. If you arrive on time and work diligently and without complaint, the management will respect you and you will feel welcome in the work community. While Qdoba is obviously not an academic opportunity or a job which requires high levels of skill, it contributes to a good work ethic and the ability to work with others.
