It gave an idea on what it is like to work in a tax accounting firm when it's not busy season. I got to also learn how to do business returns.

If you can participate in a summer tax internship definitely do it because it gives you a better feel for the firm you are working for. Everyone is stressed during busy season so it is nice to see a different side of it.
