Overview
We are seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Petition Circulators. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with the public to gather signatures in support of various initiatives and causes. This position requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences. As a Petition Circulator, you will play a crucial role in advocating for important issues within the community.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with the public to explain the purpose of petitions and gather signatures.
• Utilize effective communication techniques to persuade individuals to support various initiatives.
• Conduct door-to-door outreach as well as engage with people at events and public spaces.
• Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with potential signers, addressing their questions and concerns.
• Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts and maximize signature collection.
• Keep accurate records of signatures collected and report progress regularly.
• Utilize negotiation skills to encourage participation and support for initiatives.
• Employ bilingual skills, if applicable, to communicate effectively with a diverse audience.

Experience

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, telemarketing, or fundraising is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Experience in electioneering or grassroots campaigning is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including door-to-door canvassing and public events.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this skill can enhance outreach efforts.
