Internship in Homebuilding & Land Development
Join the Adams Homes team this summer and gain hands-on experience with one of the Southeast's most respected homebuilders. We’re offering a paid internship for individuals eager to explore the fields of residential construction, real estate development, and homebuilding business operations.
This is not your average internship — you won’t just be shadowing or making coffee. You’ll be exposed to nearly every stage of the homebuilding and vacant land development process, while supporting our local office operations and collaborating with professionals across departments.
What You'll Learn and Do:
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly in a polite, professional manner. Determine the purpose of calls and forward them appropriately while monitoring staff availability.
- Interact and learn from management; assist team members, customers, and collaborate with third-party partners such as lenders, permit authorities, title agents, and trade partners.
- Support sales, construction, land acquisition and office operations through permitting, scheduling, documentation, and customer service.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong communicators with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Comfortable interacting with customers, lenders, and Adams Homes team members
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in real estate, construction, land acquisition or development

Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (no weekends)
- Dress Code: Business casual attire
- Compensation: $16/hour, paid biweekly via direct deposit
