Graphic Design Intern

Help shape the digital presence of a cutting-edge music app!

MyStage is an innovative startup dedicated to enhancing the connections between musicians and their fans. We are creating new revenue streams for artists, comprehensive music event listings for fans, and digital collectibles to support the music community. With MyStage launching on the app stores soon, we need a creative Graphic Design Intern to craft and implement stunning visual content that brings our vision to life.

We are seeking a skilled and imaginative intern to join our design team, focusing on producing a wide range of visual content, including badges, stickers, icons, marketing assets, posters, banners, video edits, motion graphics, and website design. You’ll collaborate with our team to create professional, engaging content that elevates our brand and captivates our audience.

 

Focus:

Design badges, stickers, and icons for the MyStage app to enhance user experience.

Create image and video assets for marketing campaigns and social media.

Develop posters and banners for events and promotional activities.

Edit videos and produce motion graphics to support app promotion.

Rapid generation of social media assets.

Contribute to website design, ensuring visually appealing and user-friendly layouts.

 

Equity Compensation:

$20–$30/hr in phantom stock, based on portfolio quality. This is an early-stage startup set to launch soon, with payroll compensation expected to follow.

Skills Desired

Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects for creating high-quality graphics, video edits, and motion graphics.

Experience using AI tools (e.g., Flux, GPT, Midjourney) and/or Canva/Adobe Express for rapid asset creation.

Familiarity with design principles (e.g., layout, typography, color theory) and their application in digital and print media.

Basic website design skills, with experience in tools like Figma, Canva, or similar for creating visually appealing layouts.

Experience with video editing and motion graphics

Willingness to collaborate and adapt to creative feedback.

 

Expectations:

Time Commitment: Minimum of 20 hours/week, with more hours preferred. Flexible scheduling.

Collaboration: Be proactive and communicative, working closely with the team on design projects.

Portfolio: Submit a portfolio with examples of graphic design, video edits, motion graphics, or website design for review.

Academic Integration: Internship can align with class projects if allowed by your institution.
