AI Product Technology Manager

Job description

We are looking for a skilled AI/ML Architect or Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and AI-driven features. This role involves working closely with product teams, data scientists, and software engineers to bring intelligent capabilities to our core products.

• Location: Full time at our Nariman Point, Mumbai office
• Number of vacancies: 2
• Compensation: Will be determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the individual's skill set and experience. Potential for revenue share. Can also be converted to a field study for course credit. We are very flexible!

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Architecture: Develop the end-to-end architecture of AI/ML systems, including model training, testing, deployment, and monitoring pipelines.
• Model Development: Build and refine machine learning models for tasks such as recommendation systems, NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, etc.
• Data Engineering: Collaborate with data engineers to build data pipelines, define data schema, and ensure high-quality datasets.
• Integration: Work with software engineers to integrate models into the production environment with performance and scalability in mind.
• Research & Innovation: Stay updated with state-of-the-art techniques and bring innovation to the AI roadmap.
• Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and promote best practices for model development and MLOps.
   

Experience requirements

Minimum 0 to 7 years of experience in AI product development, software engineering, machine learning, deep learning, or AI systems.
 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python; familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Experience with building and deploying models in production environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and ML concepts.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow).
• Startup or product-based experience
• Familiarity with platforms like HubSpot, OneDrive, Box, is preferable.
