About Us: Alkusari Stone is a leading supplier of stone, providing our clients with high-quality stone products for design, architecture, and construction projects. We are currently seeking a skilled CAD Specialist with expertise in AutoCAD and architectural design to join our growing team.

Position Overview: As a CAD Specialist at Alkusari Stone, you will play a pivotal role in transforming architectural concepts into detailed, precise designs using AutoCAD. You will work closely with our architects and design team to develop shop drawings, cut tickets, plans, elevations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the design process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, modify, and review architectural drawings, blueprints, and designs using AutoCAD.
  • Draft detailed fabrication and installation drawings in AutoCAD based on architectural plans, field measurements, and project specs
  • Modify existing drawings to reflect changes and revisions
  • Collaborate with project managers and shop personnel to ensure drawings are accurate and feasible
  • Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions
  • Review plans for potential issues with stone layout, installation, or fabrication
  • Ensure all drawings and designs are up-to-date and consistent with changes
  • Maintain and manage CAD file libraries and project databases.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar software (2D required, 3D a plus)
  • Experience with stone, millwork, cabinetry, or construction drafting preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction methods.
  • A degree or certification in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working in a team-oriented, design-focused environment is a plus.
