Graceful Day Home Care is expanding our team and currently hiring Caregivers and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for long-term respite care cases throughout Orange County. Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, supportive respite care in home and community settings
• Assist with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and daily living tasks
• Supervise and engage clients in meaningful activities that support development and well-being
• Implement positive behavior reinforcement strategies when necessary
• Follow individualized care plans and communicate updates to families and care teams
• Maintain a respectful, positive, and safe environment for each client
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care

Qualifications:

• Experience in personal care or a related caregiving role
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Compassionate, caring, and patient demeanor
• Ability to build trust and rapport with clients
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a care team
• Flexibility and patience—each case is unique and may require adaptability
