Work Schedule: 30 or 40 hours per week. Variable schedule to include a variety of shifts.

Nebraska Methodist Health System is providing a comprehensive Student Nurse Summer Fellowship experience to senior level nursing students (graduation dates between Dec 2025 and May 2026). It is specifically designed to transition students to safe, competent, and professional practitioners. The fellowship program provides a highly integrated and systematic approach to integrating new nurses into their practice. This program provides job shadowing, precepting, a supportive informal mentoring and debriefing sessions. 

The Student Nurse Summer Fellowship placement is designed to provide you the opportunity to: 

• Work 1:1 with experienced nurses in a variety of settings across the continuum of care.
• Develop clinical skills through real world, hands-on experience.
• Gain confidence and a deeper understanding of the interdisciplinary dynamics and teamwork
• Experience our hospital care culture

This 8-week program will run May 19, 2025 - July 11, 2025. Applications are due March 31, 2025.
