Northway Academy, a partner of Sevita, is a day program offering daily applied behavior analysis (ABA) services for children with Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or related conditions.

Children with Autism have a variety of developmental, learning, physical and emotional needs. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our clinical team to achieve the following:
- Run therapeutic and behavioral plans, and provide early intervention to increase social and self-management skills
- Provide guidance on a range of developmental goals from communication, exercise nutrition and academic skills to assist with school readiness
- Support individuals with learning and maintaining personal skills such as hygiene, grooming, and/or toileting
- Teach and model interpersonal and social skills to help individuals thrive in their communities
- Provide assistance using strategies to properly manage and redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors
Qualifications of a Mental Health / Behavior Technician:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- A compassionate approach with a reliable and responsible attitude
- An ability to connect with children with an ability to work with others to accomplish goals
- Experience in human services
- Successful clearance of background checks
