Revenue Internship: Spring 2025

PAID Internship, free meal when working a six hour shift and free onsite parking. Plus overtime available at time and a half.

JOB TITLE: Revenue Intern

REPORTS TO: MOD

FLSA STATUS: Seasonal/Non-Exempt

DEPARTMENT: Admissions, Arcade, Foods

Positions Supervised: Supports staff and all leadership, non-supervisory

DIVISION: PARC Pigeon Forge, LLC

SHIFTS: Varying Shifts/ Basic Schedule Planned as part of hiring process

NASCAR SpeedPark: PARC Pigeon Forge, LLC, a division of PARC Entertainment, LLC (“PARC”), owns and operates the NASCAR SpeedPark in Sevierville, Tennessee. As an officially licensed attraction of the National Association for Stock Car Racing (“NASCAR”), the park offers exciting side-by-side go-kart racing on eight tracks, together with amusement rides, miniature golf courses, bumper boats, an arcade and other family-oriented entertainment. Job Purpose: Interns will learn multiple daily roles within our operation: Admissions, Arcade and Foods Service. They will then work closely with the Manager on Duty and work as needed in various areas throughout the day to help the team to deliver the best experience to our guests and to support our staff.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Assist guests in their purchases of park admission, merchandise, food and arcade experiences.

·        Operate ticket, POS and cash registers systems.

·        Provide excellent guest service and answer guest questions.

·        Prepare a wide variety of food selections.

·        Assist with arcade experience including the operation of virtual reality, redemption  experience, being a game attendant or performing regular machine upkeep including loading tickets.

·        Identify Guest Experience improvement opportunities and develop solutions and training tools.

  • Ensure that items purchased are recorded, maintain balanced cash drawers and practice consistent, professional cash handling skills.
  • Stock Foods area, tickets or redemption games with tickets and complete daily inventory.

  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, guidelines, expectations and requirements.
  • Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated timeframe, as determined by the reporting leader.

  • Provide reporting leader with feedback, ideas and suggestions on a timely basis.
  • Duties as assigned by the supervisor as deemed necessary for park operations.

SKILLS, REQUIREMENTS, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required Education- Actively pursuing a college degree
  • Preferred Experience – prefer experience in hospitality, retail, foods service, arcade or merchandising with cash-handling experience
  • Certification/Licensure – None
  • Specific Vision Requirements – Color and peripheral vision, Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus

·        Special Skills –. Prefer proficiency in use of cash registers and Point of Sales (POS systems) and cash handling procedures. Positive and effective customer service skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.

·        Schedule- Able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends, evenings and holidays

·        Occasionally the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
