We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Independent Contractor to join our team as a Virtual IB Physics Instructor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach IB Physics: Deliver comprehensive and engaging virtual lessons tailored to the IB Physics curriculum.
  • Encourage Scientific Inquiry: Inspire students to explore and understand physical principles through experiments, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
  • Personalize Learning: Adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs and learning styles.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with students and their parents regarding progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest IB curriculum changes and incorporate best practices into your teaching.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience in teaching IB Physics, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment criteria.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Physics or a related field, with a deep understanding of physical concepts and IB standards.
  • Virtual Teaching Skills: Proficient in using online teaching platforms to deliver interactive and effective lessons.
  • Student Engagement: Ability to connect with students and make learning interactive, enjoyable, and impactful.
  • Independent Contractor: This is a contract position requiring self-motivation and excellent organizational skills.
  • Hourly Rate: Competitive pay rate of $60-$70 per hour.
  • Commitment: Availability to teach one hour per week, with potential for additional hours based on demand and performance.
