Administrative Assistant/Receptionist (Denver, CO)

Typical Day in the Life

A typical day as an Administrative Assistant/Receptionist might include the following:

  • Answer phones with professionalism, greet clients and direct them to the correct person.
  • Coordinate staff meetings, conference calls and webcasts.
  • Review, sort and route incoming mail; distribute outgoing mail.
  • Perform a wide range of general administrative duties for the audit and tax departments and office.
  • Work with spreadsheets, track data in a database, time record keeping and client maintenance.
  • Assist partners, managers and staff with all office activities (typing, faxing, scanning, copying).
  • Research information for partners, managers and staff using the internet and other resources.
  • Manage and prioritize incoming workflow to meet all deadlines in a deadline-focused environment.
  • Entering daily check deposits electronically
  • Print and assemble final versions of tax returns for corporations, individuals, partnerships, payroll, nonprofit and financial institutions.
  • Electronically file and track tax extensions and returns according to Firm guidelines.
  • Compose and type routine correspondence including orders, memos, letters and reports.
  • Order and stock supplies.
  • Organize the delivery of meals for staff during busy season.
  • Pick up additional administrative responsibilities when needed.
  • Demonstrate an ability to multi-task, including answering phones with professionalism, greeting clients and coordinating staff meetings, conference calls and webcasts.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to work overtime and Saturdays during the busy tax filing periods
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Open to new challenges and assist with special projects as requested
  • Run office errands when necessary

Who You Are

  • You thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
  • You are a multi-tasking master, and there has never been a deadline you could not meet.
  • You hold yourself to the highest professional standards and maintain strict client confidentiality.
  • You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • You love collaborating and being part of a team but also enjoy working alone with limited supervision.
  • In addition to all of this, you have a high school diploma, 2+ years of past administrative support experience, and you are willing to work overtime (during tax filing periods).

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.

Benefits and Compensation

Our compensation philosophy emphasizes competitive and equitable pay. Eide Bailly complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Final compensation decisions are dependent upon factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and internal equity.

Salary range: $21.00-$28.00/hour
