Oracle Business Systems Intern

The Oracle Business Systems Intern, reporting to the Financial Systems Manager – Oracle Applications will be responsible for 1st level support for the Oracle ERP cloud applications, access requests, quarterly update reviews, sql reporting. They will need to work with Oracle on issue resolution for open issues.

What you will do to contribute to the company's success

  • Research issues by recreating in non-prod, working with users to find out specific steps taken and error messages received.
  • Review tickets and assign out as appropriate. Hold weekly or bi-weekly ticket review meetings with users.
  • Gather requirements for new enhancement requests
  • Develop customer solutions using Oracle's analytics offerings: Fusion OTBI, SQL, FRS
  • Partner with application owners and stakeholders to design and query data for analytical purposes, research, and audits.
  • Ability to translate business requirements and design into technical solutions
  • Ability to work independently and with onshore / offshore service providers
  • Takes on other duties needed to help drive our Purpose, fulfill our Brand Principles, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

 

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task, effectively prioritize, and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Superb attention to detail and strong planning and organizational skills with concern for quality and deadlines.
  • Willingness to operate and progress in areas that are outside of previous experience.
