RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will provide technical support in the areas of project planning, safety site planning, project development, Anti-Deficiency Act work classification, and supporting facility planning.
  • You will serve as senior project planner for planning, design, and construction projects; i.e. Military Construction, special projects for facilities, waterfront/shore structures, warehouses, power plants, hazardous waste and fire protection systems.
  • You will investigate existing problem areas in order to forecast future project facilities planning.
  • You will review plans and designs to ensure they conform within Navy and DoD guidance and A/E contracts.
  • You will prepare statements of work and government estimates.

This position has a Selective Placement Factor (SPF) which is CURRENT registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) or Architect (RA) in any state, District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico.
