CT Technologist

Location: Duluth, MN

Job Overview: We're looking for a dedicated CT Technologist to join our client's accomplished radiology team. You’ll work at our client’s brand-new hospital which is a Level 1 adult and Level 2 pediatric trauma center with 24-hour emergency and critical care. This hospital ranks among the top 5 out of 143 hospitals in Minnesota, according to a recent US News & World report. As a CT Tech, your responsibilities will include administration of ionizing radiation to patients of all ages for diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or research purposes, using advanced computer-assisted, digital image recording, and analysis systems.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibilities will include patient care and education, X-Ray machines, CT scanners and MRI machine operation, image capture, radiation safety, image processing, documentation, and quality assurance.  
  • Expected to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as radiologists to assist with interventional and biopsy procedures. 
  • Provides optimal patient care utilizing established and accepted techniques. 
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to interact with patients in a way that is effective and appropriate to the age of the involved patient population.

Qualifications

  • No educational requirements.
  • Registered in CT by either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR
    the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) within two years of hire.

Pay Range

  • $31.34 - $46.59 per hour
  • FTE: 1 (i.e., 80 hours per pay period)
  • The approximate base compensation range is posted. The final base compensation will be determined by several factors including the selected candidate’s experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, FTE, as well as internal equity among our client’s team.

Shift Details

  • Shift Rotation: Day/Evening/Night, Rotation; 8 hours during weekdays, 12 hours during weekends.

  • You may have to work on some weekends or holidays. Flexibility in shift scheduling.
