Office of the CIO Internship

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking an intern for our Information Technology organization. We are seeking an intern to support the office of the CIO.

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Information Officer, you will Support the CIO and leadership team in managing operation tasks, deliverables, and support change management. You will assist with internal communications and creating updates/developing presentations for internal and external audiences. You will also support the research and assessment of business goals, objectives, and needs to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. You will be responsible for various tasks that enhance the productivity and procedures of the Office of the CIO.

This team works a 9x80 schedule. Remote or Hybrid work opportunities may be available for this position.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Undergraduate student enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • A minimum overall 3.0 GPA.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

  • Undergraduate Internships ($25.65/hour - $30.70/hour)
  • Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($31.75/hour - $34.06/hour)
  • PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($33.75/hour - $36.06/hour)
  • Eligible interns are provided paid holiday time off, and many of our internships offer travel reimbursements.
  • Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on degree field and level of education.
