Lead Generation Intern, Educational Partnerships

We are looking for our  first ever Lead Generation Intern to help spread the word on Educational Partnerships and break barriers to care for students in need. More students are seeking out therapy and the demands have made waitlists for campus-based counseling commonplace, while many students with challenges do not receive support when they need it most.

Talkspace is headquartered in New York, NY, but this role can be remote and will report to the Senior Director of Youth Programs


What You'll Do

As part of our 2024 Early Careers Program, you will be part of a community that grows together! 

You will be a driving force within the success of this initiative - partnering with educational institutions in an effort to tackle the growing mental health crisis among students. 

This internship will have a direct impact on strategy, while working closely with our Business Development Team to identify and cultivate new relationships within different educational verticals; Universities, Trade Schools, K-12, etc. 

 

Projects
 

  • Build Your Pitch: Hellp boost qualified opportunities for our business development team by identifying and engaging potential clients in the Educational space. 
  • Process Management and Lead Health: Oversee marketing lead database and analyze/optimize lead qualification processes to identify and hand-off sales ready leads.
  • Build the Brand: Support custom marketing programs/campaigns on behalf of our Partnerships Team in order to network with strategically identified accounts.
  • Pitch to an Executive: You will gain an extensive introduction to the business and will present on a part of the mission and role that was most impactful to you.

Internship Details: 

 

  • Duration of Internship: June 3rd 2024 - August 19th 2024
  • Total of 2-3 projects with one of them serving as your graduation presentation
  • You will gain valuable (and paid!) professional experience, specific field related exposure and the ability to learn skills from collaborating with professionals
  • You will have a Talkspacer Mentor coming from this program - someone who helps keep track of your progress across 12 weeks


About You

  • Rising juniors and seniors in undergraduate degree, or enrolled in a graduate program
  • Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
  • Able to commit to working 20 hours per week during the summer 
  • A passion for being in the details, ensuring every document, project, or experience is on-point and on-brand
  • Strong communicator (verbal & written) with the ability to listen, articulate positions, advocate, and execute ideas 


Bonus Points

  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation software (e.g. Salesforce is a big plus) 
  • Exceptional organizational, collaboration and communication skills
  • Strong storytelling, writing and editing skills
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills and attention to detail
