Accounts Receivable Review Specialist Position Overview :
- Assisting to facilitate collections of past due accounts for 3 Woodmark Pharmacy locations.
- Provide direction and insight into AR account resolution.
- Focus on reducing accounts through the AR aging process.
- Participate in AR aging reviews.
Shift: 9a-5pm Mon-Fri
AR Review Specialist Essential Job Functions
- Assisting to facilitate collections of past due accounts for 3 Woodmark Pharmacy locations.
- Review outstanding private, Medicaid pending and third-party balances per AR Aging.
- Daily call past due balance private pay customers to collect outstanding balance utilizing customer service skills. Note & document conversations for AR Aging reviews.
- Works with responsible parties, receiving in/out bound telephone calls, providing customer service, and following up.
- Maintain the status of accounts sent to collection agency and attorneys once escalated.
- Coordinate accounts identified for write off or adjustment and obtain approvals.
- Assist with daily mail as needed for AR team.
- Utilizes electronic timekeeping system as required.
- Arrives to work on time, regularly, and works as scheduled.
- Recognizes and follows the dress code of the facility including always wearing name tag.
- Follows policy and procedure regarding all electronic devices, computers, tablets, etc.
- Supports and abides by Woodmark’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
- Abides by Woodmark’s businesses code of conduct, compliance, and HIPAA policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor, management staff or Administrator.
AR Review Specialist Educational Requirements and Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years’ experience in private collections
- Analytical skills and the ability to analyze data
