This Staff Research Associate I (SRA I) is a laboratory-based research position focusing on animal models of acute lung injury.  The goal is to discover more about the mechanisms through which lung injury develops with a focus on the innate immune response including neutrophils and platelets.  Experiments include intravenous and intratracheal injections of biological agents,  genotyping of mouse tail DNA, ELISAs, immunohistochemistry, cleared organ imaging, and flow cytometry.
