Operations and Writing Special Projects Intern

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our team in the role of Operations and Writing Special Projects Intern. This position will report directly to the CEO, providing valuable support in various aspects of operational tasks, developing written content, and business development initiatives for the 2024 Behavioral Health Tech Conference.

Responsibilities:
 

Project Management Support:

  • Assist in the overall project management of the 2024 Behavioral Health Tech Conference.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Operations and Content to ensure timely execution of tasks and adherence to project timelines.
  • Hold the team accountable for completing tasks and projects with strict deadlines.
  • Update project documentation and prepare reports as needed.

Operations:

  • Assist the leadership team in developing a robust conference agenda aimed at expanding into new markets such as autism/IDD, community mental health, employers/HR benefits leaders, Medicaid plans, etc.
  • Prepare detailed notes for prep calls ahead of speaker sessions.
  • Support in researching keynote speaker ideas.
  • Assist in budgeting and accounting activities

Business Development:

  • Aid in post-conference follow-up by identifying and connecting with new contacts via email from events.
  • Support the CEO in email correspondence and follow-up with conference sponsor prospects.

Marketing:

  • Assist in marketing activities, including creating social media content leading up to major event milestones.
  • Draft blog posts and write articles highlighting our most recent panels and webinars
     

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate event management tools.
  • Passionate about behavioral health, technology, and youth mental health initiatives.
