Sales Engineer Intern

Intro and job overview:

Precisely’s Summer Internship Program is a paid, part-time opportunity for undergraduate students actively enrolled in university. This is an 8-week program that begins June 10th and concludes August 2nd. This opportunity is 100% remote preferably located in eastern or central time zone. The Sales Engineer Intern will work closely with the presales team.

The Sales Engineer Intern will participate in the implementation of a new security assessment response process, creation of new technical software demonstrations in Consensus, turning the Gartner demo into a reusable customer facing company asset, and create sales play enablement videos for Customer Success.

Responsibilities and duties: 

  • Successful transition of our security response process from Jira to Responsive.
  • Successful implementation of our new Consensus demonstration software.
  • Candidate should be able to deliver the data integrity suite demo at the presentation all hands.
  • The Gartner demo should be viewable by customers on our Consensus platform.

Requirements and qualifications: 

  • Come from a technical program such as software engineering, data science, computer software, etc.
  • Strong communication skills - The key to being a great sales engineer is the ability to be strong technically, but also be able to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical roles in a clear and simple way.
