Business Development Intern

We're seeking a visionary individual with an interest in biotech/pharma, adept at forecasting and financial analysis. As our Business Development Intern, you'll be at the forefront of hematology and solid tumour competitive analysis, market segment scrutiny, and navigating M&A trends in the biotech industry. Dive into the pulse of M&A, industry news, and conduct thorough competitor analysis for synergies. Analyze investor presentations, extracting valuable competitor insights.   Perform comprehensive background research on potential partners, leveraging both public and proprietary databases.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

Preferred majors: Business, Finance, Mathematics, or Life Sciences, such as Biology, Biochemistry

Rising seniors or juniors preferred, MUST HAVE PELL GRANT

  • Knowledge of biotech and pharma M&A activities, financial modelling, and market segmentations preferred.
  • Proven ability to conduct background research using public and proprietary databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of competitive analysis methodologies; be able to assess investor presentations and extract key information that can be leveraged; ability to digest complex information into trend analysis
  • Ability to work both independently, motivated self-learner and collaboratively.

PAY RATE$30/hr commensurate with experience

LOCATION

K36 is virtual, yet occasionally we like to meet F2F in NYC or Boston (travel will be reimbursed).

REMOTE-WORK

Computer with access to Wi-Fi, Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and basic knowledge of financial modelling tools
