Remote Webflow Design Fellow

JOB DESCRIPTION

Pediatric Potential is currently seeking a Webflow Design Fellow, who is keen to use their background to develop help us maintain and update our new website.

This fellowship will provide the opportunity to work closely with our international team to contribute to an innovative online brand awareness plan. The Webflow Design Fellow will support our Executive team and will be given the opportunity to utilize their studies and/or past work experience in a practical manner.  We are looking for a Webflow Design Fellow to create intuitive, attractive user interfaces to engage prospective partners. Your duties will include designing layouts while balancing the usability, visual appeal, and technical feasibility of the designs.

Those with previous non-profit work experience and interest in our mission are encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintain and update website design layouts for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices
  • Design graphics, icons, and logos
  • Maintain, update and implement visual elements of our company website
  • Research and evaluate new design trends
  • Establish and maintain design standards and best practices
  • Strategizing new ideas and opportunities for success
  • Attending a monthly team meeting

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency with Webflow (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript)
  • Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field
  • A strong eye for visual design and composition
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of website design, brand identity, and multimedia design
  • Experience with computer-aided design
  • Understands the mission of our organization, including the brand, target audience, and goals
  • Professionalism and ability to collaboratively to achieve organizational goals
  • Organized, with an ability to meet agreed deadlines
  • Self-starter; creative problem-solver
  • Ability to work remotely and connect via web conferencing, file sharing and messaging platforms

Suggested skills, not required:

  • Work experience as a Webflow designer
  • Background in marketing, communication, and/or non-profit business development

 

COMMITMENT

  • 5-10 hours/month for a minimum of 9 months with an option to extend, depending on organizational needs and the interest/availability of the candidate.
  • Flexible start/end date(s), depending on the college/university requirements of the applicant.

 

LOCATION

Remote with flexible hours.

 

COMPENSATION

This is an unpaid Fellowship. However, the Fellowship can be utilized for school credit (if applicable) by the college/university of the applicant.
