Marketing Intern

Full-time Summer hours, part-time flexible hours during the school year.

Looking to start your career in Marketing? CentraCare is looking for a Marketing Intern to join the team for Summer 2024 through the 2024-25 school year. This role will be full-time Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. through summer and part-time/flexible (minimum of 10 hours per week) during the school year. We are looking for a full year commitment. Ideal applicant will be entering their senior year of college and have completed coursework related to marketing/communications/advertising. 

CORE FUNCTIONS:

• Carries out marketing and communications related projects as assigned. Projects may include website content development, social media posts, brochure/educational materials development, advertising, direct mailings, special events planning and execution, copy writing/editing, video production and vendor coordination.
• May assist with patient story writing and other communication efforts.
• May assist with market research and new product development research.
• Creates promotional materials keeping with CentraCare Corporate Identity Guide.
• Because the facility is a 24/7 operation, position may include mandatory participation in various schedules.
• Other marketing related tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION:

• High School diploma required.
• 3-4 years college education with marketing coursework required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to interact with colleagues, vendors and the public in a professional manner.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Experience with standard computer hardware and software required.
