About the role


Roku is looking for a solution-oriented MBA/Masters student, looking to kick start a career in product management. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the streaming landscape and the prospect of building products that deliver a delightful user experience, whilst generating business value for Roku. In this position, you will develop a deep understanding of Automatic Content Recognition (ACR) technology, which you will then use to develop an exciting product roadmap and suite of product features. You will partner with User Experience, Research, Data Science, Software Engineering, Machine Learning, Legal, Marketing, and many other cross-functional teams to bring the experience to life.   
 

What you’ll be doing 


  • Become an expert in ACR technology 
  • Identify pain points and opportunities, which an ACR experience could help solve 
  • Work closely with Research, UX and engineering to develop solutions to address these pain points / realize the potential opportunities 
  • Partner with data science to determine how you’ll measure the impact of your products 
 

We are excited if you have/are 


  • Currently pursuing MBA / Masters  
  • Experience in the media or tech industry prior to school 
  • Ability to use left and right brain 
  • Data-driven and an entrepreneurial self-starter who deals well with ambiguity
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, verbal, written, and presentation communication and interpersonal skills
  • Lots of creativity, design thinking, and ideas
  • A cross-functional influencer with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Plenty of energy, a willingness to learn, and a bias for action
