A virtual internship position is available as a Legal Assistant to an established litigation attorney whose office is located in Providence, Rhode Island. The responsibilities for this position, includes but is not limited to, conducting legal research and case related investigations as well as client conferences and witness meetings, drafting pretrial motions and case related correspondence, trial preparation and all components related to civil litigation, personal injury and immigration cases, as well as assisting with and attending conferences, pretrial hearings and trials. This position is unpaid, but offers a valuable learning experience to those seeking a career in the legal field. This position does offer academic credits.
