Job Summary: 
The Human Resource Generalist will assist the HR team with the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department, including but not limited to Onboarding and Offboarding tasks, employee engagement and recruitment.
The Human Resources Generalist will provide high level of proactive and administrative support to the HR Team and other internal stakeholders. 
The Human Resource Generalist will also assist in the internship and mentorship program management. The Human Resource Generalist will require excellent communication skills, Microsoft Office Suite knowledge and strong attention to detail.  

Supervisory Responsibilities: 
  • None. 

Duties/Responsibilities: 
  • Maintains knowledge of the staffing of all departments, builds strong relationships with hiring managers, the HR Team and colleagues. 

  • Reviews job descriptions to develop job advertisement strategies appropriate for recruiting and retaining top talent. 

  • Assist in Onboarding employees, collecting identification for I-9 forms and managing the onboarding process through completion. 

  • Assist in Offboarding employees, sending letters of separation and managing the offboarding process through completion

  • Uses a variety of sourcing resources including: Job boards, recruitment databases, employee referrals, networking and attending career fairs. 

  • Organization and management of internship and mentorship programs 

  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations. 

  • Maintain employee files and records. 

  • Assist with other operational duties as assigned. 

  • Screens candidates for qualifications, salary expectations, interest level, and interview availability. Coordinates interviews with hiring manager and hiring team. Solicits feedback from interviews to move candidates through the process.
