Embedded Systems Research Intern (Hardware)
Job Requirements:
- Integrating biosensors (EEG, EMG, EKG, EDA, Temp, PPG, … )
- Rapid prototyping of biofeedback loops
- Designing, fabricating, and testing boards,
- Programming microcontrollers and developing firmware libraries,
- Preparing and presenting regular weekly demos of prototypes
Applicant Requirements:
- PhD or MSc student in Electrical Engineering/Robotics/ or Biomedical Engineering or Neuroscience or Computer Science or Physics
- 1+ years of research experience in an engineering/research role producing demonstrable prototypes and products
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced development team
- Great hands-on skills for rapid-prototyping
- Programming experience in Python, C/C++, JavaScript
- Great presentation and communication skills
- Passion to work on revolutionary products
- Be able to commit to 20-40hrs/week
- Be able to commute to the Somerville, MA office location at least once a week
