Minority Serving Institutions Partnership (MSIPP) Internship with DOE laboratory
The Minority Serving Institutions Partnership (MSIPP) Program provides full-time undergraduate and graduate students from accredited Minority Serving Institutions with an opportunity to complete a summer internship aligned with ongoing U.S. Department of Energy Office of Environmental Management (DOE-EM) research under the direction of a host national laboratory. The internship will be performed at the host national laboratory, utilizing their facilities and equipment under the guidance of a senior research mentor.
The mission of the MSIPP program is designed to provide an enhanced training environment for next generation scientists and engineers by exposing them to research challenges unique to our industry.
As a MSIPP participant, you will train under the mentorship of a DOE-EM scientist while working on a mission-focused research project. During the 10-week appointment, you will receive a weekly stipend.
