We’re looking for an analytical, detail-oriented problem-solver to join our team for a Summer 2020 Data Science and Analytics Internship, where you’ll work alongside a group of data scientists and data analysts to scrutinize and interpret system data and provide full-fledged insights to help our customers make better decisions. Responsibilities:
As a Data Analyst Summer Intern, you will work on...
- Standardizing free text data sets for analysis
- Analyzing resumes or other candidate skills data
- SEO Metrics optimization and analysis
- Optimizing segmentation of company sizes for the purposes of different research questions
- Building forecasting models
- Analyzing seasonal patterns in hiring
Qualifications:
- Experience with spreadsheets and other standard business professional software, such as Excel and Microsoft Office
- Coursework or professional experience in statistics, finance, or other subjects involving data analysis and data visualization
- Excellent communication skills – whether using the written word or data visualization – to articulate ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively
- Must be a problem solver and a self-starter
- Must be pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree during the time of the internship (Summer 2020)
- Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence software
- Coursework in economics, stats, mathematics, or other behavioral sciences is a plus
- Experience with SQL, Python, or R – or other coding experience – is a plus
