Networking and Security Intern

SimplePart is looking for a CS student intern to join our Infrastructure and Security team, and gain hands-on experience working with highly secure ecommerce systems, operating at scale. We can offer a paid position doing real, meaningful work with flexible hours.

This role is an opportunity to be directly involved in the real, day to day work of networking and security in a very active ecommerce setting.

Strong candidates will be able to show us:

  • A Computer Science (CS) degree in progress
  • Experience working in common development and scripting languages
  • An interest in security, threat detection, automation and monitoring
  • Familiarity with networking equipment (firewalls, etc)
  • A drive to learn new things.
  • An interest in cars, motorcycles, motorsports or powersports is a big plus.
