Job Description Summary:
The intern will assist the IT Security team in many different IT or Security related responsibilities and projects. The Eversource IT Security team is responsible for computer and network security across all 3 states in the Eversource territory. The security team the co-op will be working for is responsible for Security Architecture compliance. In this role, the co-op will be exposed to many different applications and tools used to document and track business processes.
- Participate in analysis and investigations of new technologies/applications
- Test and evaluate new security tools being considered for different use cases.
- Assist the Security Architects with existing projects in various business areas
- Documentation of Architecture tools utilized in various systems including drawings, procedure updates and configuration databases.
- Documentation of (Security) Standards and Policies
- Documentation of Governance models and processes
- Documentation of Training Methods, reference architectures, and control solutions
- Creating Sharepoint-based automation
- Automating existing documentation/processes (Excel, Word, SharePoint)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: End of August. Possibility to extend into the Fall Semester for the right person.
Hours: Fulltime, Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm (time is flexible)
