Internship - Software Development - Boston, MA
Edelman Financial Engines is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its team as a Software Development Intern in Boston, MA.
This is an excellent internship opportunity to work on a technology project that will build a microservice-based intelligent system with predictive analytics for business. At the end of the project, the intern will have experienced and learned building enterprise-grade, business-critical application components.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage Amazon Web Services cloud technology stack including but not limited to Serverless, Object Storage S3, Dynamo DB (NoSQL), RDS (SQL), AWS Sagemaker, etc.
- Data analytics
- Leverage algorithms in the machine learning space.
Requirements:
- Strong algorithm-based problem-solving skills
- Experience with Java language.
- Ability to comprehend and factor in scalability, reliability, and availability aspects
- Develop technical scope and specification of the project deliverable, and deliver with high-quality code
- Demonstrated coding experience through projects on GitHub demonstrating technical initiative and creativity.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services technologies
- Knowledge of any reporting tool like Tableau
- Experience or knowledge with SQL
- Excellent communication skills
- Team player and eagerness to step up and learn through pair programming.
