Live Stream Host (Part-Time, On-Site – Houston Office)

Company Overview
We are a Houston-based U.S. enterprise focused on MRO merchandise sales across North America under our proprietary brand NorthSky. Our full-channel ecosystem includes self-operated DTC independent websites, Amazon, TikTok Shop and Whatnot live marketplace.
To expand our live auction and retail business on Whatnot, we are seeking reliable, long-term part-time on-site live stream hosts to join our warehouse team.

Job Summary
Employment Type: Part-Time, On-Site at our Houston office
Working Schedule: Flexible shifts aligned with live broadcast plans
Product Coverage: Consumer electronics accessories, home goods, general warehouse direct retail inventory and trending daily merchandise
Core Responsibilities
1. Independently host scheduled live shopping sessions on Whatnot, clearly and energetically introduce product specifications, pricing, warehouse sourcing advantages and key features to live audiences.
2. Fully operate Whatnot native live tools including live auctions, fixed-price listings, flash sales and audience interactive giveaways to boost real-time orders and auction transaction volume.
3. Engage with viewers via live chat in real time; promptly respond to inquiries about product details, shipping policies and order questions to maintain audience activity and retention.
4. Coordinate with internal operation teams pre-broadcast to confirm live schedules, featured product lists, promotion rules and real-time warehouse inventory updates.
5. Submit concise post-stream feedback after each session, summarize audience preferences and top-selling items, and adjust presentation styles to match mainstream U.S. consumer shopping habits.
6. Maintain a friendly, professional brand image of NorthSky during all live streams, expand brand exposure and grow follower count on our official Whatnot store channel.

Job Qualifications
1. Fluent conversational English with strong verbal communication skills suited for live sales to U.S. local shoppers; able to deliver clear, natural presentations to domestic audiences.
2. Confident on-camera presence, outgoing personality, excellent expressive skills and quick critical thinking to resolve on-air operational issues independently.
3. Prior live streaming experience on Whatnot, TikTok Shop or other U.S. live shopping platforms is strongly preferred. Candidates with limited relevant experience but fast learning capabilities are also welcome to apply.
4. Reliable, accountable and able to follow unified team broadcast schedules; we prioritize candidates interested in consistent long-term part-time cooperation.
5. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation Package
Dual compensation structure as official W-2 employee:
Base hourly pay: $18 – $22
Additional performance-based sales commission on live stream revenue
