The Mental Health Technician functions in a collaborative process with the Psychiatric Staff Nurse in accordance with approved policies, procedures and schedules as directed by the Registered Nurse. The Mental Health Technician operating under the license of the Registered Nurse assists in the provision of nursing care with direct supervision by the RN to assure safe and quality nursing care.

Position:

Weekend MHT 2/4

Shift:

7am - 7pm or 7pm - 7am

Experience:

1. One year of psychiatric experience on an inpatient psychiatric unit or comparable experience preferred.

Education:

High School or GED

Licensures/Certifications:

BLS Certified, or obtained within first 30 days of hire.
