Position Summary

Coach Kee’s 360 Training is seeking a driven, professional, and relationship-oriented Public Relations Intern with a passion for storytelling, community outreach, and brand visibility. This role is ideal for someone interested in building partnerships, securing media opportunities, and helping grow a purpose-driven brand in the youth health and wellness space.

The intern will gain hands-on experience in public relations strategy, media outreach, partnership development, and brand positioning while supporting a rapidly growing company focused on youth fitness, leadership, and wellness.

Coach Kee’s 360 Training is a fast-growing youth health, fitness, and wellness company based in Los Angeles, California. Our mission is to inspire and empower the next generation through fitness, leadership, mentorship, and confidence-building. We offer programs in physical training, nutritional wellness, mentality training, family fitness, and leadership development, serving children of all ability levels through a holistic approach.

Expected Responsibilities

  • Research local media outlets, blogs, podcasts, and publications for PR opportunities
  • Assist with media outreach to secure features, interviews, and press coverage
  • Identify and contact potential community and strategic partners, including schools, pediatricians, occupational therapists, sports organizations, and community groups
  • Draft press releases, media pitches, outreach emails, and talking points
  • Support promotion of events, workshops, and community programs to increase attendance and awareness
  • Help maintain and strengthen relationships with partners, collaborators, and community contacts
  • Track outreach activity, partnership progress, and media responses in an organized manner
  • Research trends, target audiences, and local opportunities to improve brand visibility
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to align PR efforts with current campaigns and initiatives
  • Represent the brand in a professional, positive, and mission-driven way

Minimum Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in college or recently graduated, preferably in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business, or a related field
  • Strong interest in public relations, media outreach, communications, or partnership development
  • Basic proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, or similar tools
  • Ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbally
  • Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Must be able to work independently in a hybrid setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in outreach, communications, PR, marketing, or student leadership is a plus
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and brand messaging is helpful
  • Experience writing professional emails, announcements, or press materials is preferred but not required
