What You'll Be Doing:
- Joining a Congressional Campaign
Position Summary
Supports the Communications Department by assisting with the creation, scheduling, and organization of social media content across digital platforms. Helps amplify the organization’s mission, campaigns, and initiatives through engaging and consistent online messaging. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals interested in social media, digital communications, or nonprofit advocacy. No prior experience is required, but it is preferred. Training and guidance are provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with drafting and organizing social media posts and captions
- Support scheduling and monitoring content across social media platforms
- Help ensure messaging is consistent with organizational tone and values
- Assist with tracking engagement and basic performance metrics
- Support content organization, calendars, and posting schedules
- Collaborate with the Communications team on campaign-related content
- Assist with responding to comments or messages as directed
- Provide general administrative and creative support to the Communications team
