Part-time Math Instructor
About Us:
We are an education academy dedicated to building strong mathematical foundations and fostering confidence in young learners. Our mission is to help elementary and middle school students develop solid problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and a genuine interest in mathematics within a supportive and engaging learning environment.
We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Math Instructor who enjoys working with elementary and middle school students and is skilled at guiding them through core math concepts with clarity and encouragement.
Responsibilities:
- Teach elementary and middle school math (grades 1–8), including arithmetic, pre-algebra, and introductory algebra concepts, in small-group or one-on-one in-person settings
- Design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans tailored to students’ skill levels
- Help students strengthen number sense, logical reasoning, and problem-solving strategies
- Monitor student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback to students and parents
- Create practice materials, enrichment activities, and review sessions to support academic growth and math competitions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience teaching or tutoring elementary, middle and/or high school math
- Strong understanding of math standards and curriculum for grades 1–8
- Patient, enthusiastic, and dependable with excellent communication skills
- Ability to teach in person at our Suwanee, GA location
Schedule & Pay:
- Part-time, flexible schedule (after school or weekends)
- Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
