Reading and Math Tutor
Tutors Impacting Public Schools (TIPS) is hiring classroom tutors to improve student success, support teacher and school needs, and enrich public school classrooms for the 2025-2026 school year! More details about our work and impact can be found on our website here.
We are looking for tutors who:

Can be flexible and problem-solve in the dynamic school environment
Will communicate and collaborate effectively with educators
In this position you will:
Support students in grades K-5 with reading in small groups and lunch duty, and provide math support as needed at Green Lake Elementary (2400 N 65th St, Seattle, WA 98103)
Build valuable leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
Develop professional relationships with faculty, staff, and TIPS administration
Receive paid training on Race & Equity in Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Student Engagement & Management, creating Inclusive & Welcoming School Environments, Social Emotional Learning strategies, and more!
Get paid $24/hour
Accrue paid sick leave
Schedule:
Start Date: Week of January 5, 2026
End Date: Week of March 20, 2026
You can pick any day of the week except Wednesday, and we just ask that you stick to the same day each week during this time.
9:15am to 2:35pm
Follows Seattle Public Schools schedule for breaks and holidays
