Literacy and STEM Tutor
Tutors Impacting Public Schools (TIPS) is hiring classroom tutors to improve student success, support teacher and school needs, and enrich public school classrooms for the 2025-2026 school year! More details about our work and impact can be found on our website here.

Will communicate and collaborate effectively with educators
In this position you will:
Support Title I eligible students in grades 6-8 in ELA, Math, and Science through one-on-one tutoring at Seattle Nativity School (4200 S Mead St, Seattle, WA 98118)
Host an after-school or evening Parent Involvement Event for Title I families, including preparing the invitation, agenda, and sign-in sheet, and coordinating any allowable parent-dollar snacks or materials.
Build valuable leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
Develop professional relationships with faculty, staff, and TIPS administration
Receive paid training on Race & Equity in Education, Culturally Responsive Teaching, Student Engagement & Management, creating Inclusive & Welcoming School Environments, Social Emotional Learning strategies, and more!
Get paid $24/hour
Accrue paid sick leave
Schedule:
Start Date: January 5, 2026
End Date: June 11, 2026
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays from 3–5pm and Fridays from 3–4pm
9 hours a week
Schedule is fixed to meet school's needs
Follows this schedule for breaks and holidays
