Mid Century Store Design and Warehouse Associate

Mid Century Sacramento, The cities largest mid century modern furniture and decor store for is now hiring. We are looking for a passionate member to add to our talented team that is available for a minimum of 20 hours a week, Wednesday- Saturday.

We source, restore, and carefully curate iconic 20th century/mid century modern designs and sell them nationally and internationally. We view good furniture design as functional art and our goal is put that art into the buyer or collectors hands. Our services include restoration, reupholstery services and nationwide logistics for our customers. As we expand and grow we see the need to bring on a new team member that can grow with our business and assist in meeting customer needs and deadlines . As we grow there will be many chances for bonuses and wage increases as well as paid skill trainings.

We are a thriving online company ready to adapt to the stay ahead of the curve. We are looking for additional innovators and creative out of the box thinkers to grow our brand.

We're looking for a shipping and warehouse assistant with some light woodworking that can work ideally 20-30 hours a week Monday-Friday.

Below are the initial weekly tasks:

- Carefully prepping and shipping sold furniture.

- Nationwide / International logistics planning. Corresponding directly with couriers. Tracking outbound shipments. Coordination with customers regarding deliveries including scheduling.

-Inventory organization and merchandising. Maintaining a clean and organized sold section. Proper tagging of sold inventory.

-Customer Service with local and in-house customers.

-Using and updating inventory database system.

Requirements:

High school education

Some college or college degree is a plus

Self Starting attitude

Interest or experience in Design / Art a plus but not necessary

Willing to do physical work / be able to lift 50 pds

Be able to be on your feet for up to 5-6 hours

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week to a maximum of 30 hours
