Rooted in the transformative values of Love, Connection, and Righteousness, CCSC envisions a world where Love, Joy, Hope, Righteousness, and Faithfulness transcend social, cultural, and conventional boundaries. We strive to foster compassionate, inclusive, and interconnected communities where all individuals can grow and thrive.

About the Program:

This summer, Cross Community Service Center (CCSC) is in collaboration with high schools across the Philadelphia area to offer a beginner to lower-intermediate level Artificial Intelligence (AI) program for local high school students.

The program is designed to enlighten students with foundational knowledge of AI, while equipping them with the tools and confidence to explore real-world applications. Through guided, project-based learning, students will gain skills that are increasingly essential in today’s technology-driven world.

More than just an AI project-based program, this program also aims to empower young people—particularly those from underrepresented and immigrant communities—to envision themselves as future leaders with actual hands-on AI experiences.

  • Lead a small cohort (3–8 students) through a week-long AI project
  • Provide interactive lessons focused on AI fundamentals and ethical considerations
  • Support students in brainstorming, developing, and presenting their AI projects
  • Create an inclusive and encouraging student-centered feedback report

Qualifications:

  • Professional or academic experience in developing AI-based projects
  • Prior experience teaching, tutoring for high school students (particularly in STEM)
  • Strong communication, classroom facilitation, and student engagement skills
