About Senda Primera:
Senda Primera is a tutoring and mentorship service founded by a first-generation college graduate and current MBA student. We’re building an agency focused on supporting underrepresented, bilingual, and first-gen students through affordable, culturally aware academic support. Our vision is to create a tutoring agency that uplifts communities through mentorship, education, and access — starting small but dreaming big.

Who We’re Looking For:
We’re currently hiring remote academic tutors who are confident teaching basic Science, Math, and English to students of all ages — from elementary through college. Ideal candidates are graduate students or individuals pursuing a future in education, teaching, counseling, or academic support.

What You’ll Do:

Provide personalized, 1-on-1 or small group tutoring sessions online

Teach basic academic concepts in Math, Science, and/or English

Work with students of various age groups and learning levels

Submit short session notes after each tutoring session

Support students with patience, encouragement, and cultural sensitivity

Qualifications:

Strong academic skills in Science, Math, and/or English

Comfortable working with children, teens, and young adults

Graduate students or aspiring educators strongly encouraged to apply

Reliable internet and ability to use Zoom or similar platforms

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required

Job Details:

Pay: $20/hour

Hours: Set your own schedule – flexible, remote work
